How Can severe Edema In The Lower Legs Be Treated?

I am experiencing severe edema in my lower legs and feet. I have mild SOB on exertion. My thyroid was recently checked and the levels are normal . Could the swelling be caused by an allergic reaction ?I believe I have inadvertently been taking too much vitamin D

it can be related to renal function. so renal function test should be done can also be due to medication to treat hypertension. so give your history of medicationemlodypin can cause edema feet.
